teknomedic
I'm sorry if this has been talked about to death... but this is a new problem for me.I just started getting this "error" this morning (never had it before now) and I'm running uTorrent v1.7.2My max download speed = 1MB / 10Mb / 1024KBMy max upload speed = 0.1MB / 1Mb / 100KBI've tried everything I could find on the forums already about this. I've turned off all the cache options recommended... and I've switched from "automatic cache" to forcing it at 100MB at this point. Each time I change something it simply takes longer for the error to appear. Before doing anything with everything at defaults this error would appear within 5secs... now I'm upto around 5-10min.My PC and HDDs should be fast enough.--Vista Ultimate--Core2 Duo--2GB RAM--320GB SATAII 3Gb/s 16MB Cache (C drive used for torrents)--4x 400GB SATAII 3Gb/s 16MB Cache drives for data storage--nVidia 7900GSAfter trying everything on the forums I've seen... the only thing I can think is that maybe my main drive is failing... but it still performs well and no new noises coming from any of my HDDs.Thanks for any ideas or tips about this,TK. tincans
Same Problem here, I also use Vista Ultimate. Could it be the OS?I have installed those two Vista Updates (Performance & Reliability), maybe it's because of them?
ajones81
Just a shot in the dark, but could you disable SuperFetch and the Windows Indexing Service and check?
