Borisz
I save all of my torrents in a custom folder; I want to change this specified folder to another one on a different drive. Is there any way to move the 100+ torrents I have loaded to this new folder, so utorrent doesn't just come up with "can't find torrent file in old location"?Also, is there any way to clean up this folder? It's full of junk and manual sorting would take hours upon hours. I'd need a quick way to pick out torrents which are loaded by utorrent, and ones which are not, and delete all of the latter. Firon
You can only move them one by one by telling ut of the new location with Set Download Location. And manual sorting is your only recourse.
Borisz
erm no, I don't mean my downloads, I mean the *.torrent files themselves.
Firon
Oh, that. Uh, setting a new .torrent storage folder then restarting -should- work, in theory...
Invy
^ So you're saying if you do that it will automatically move your .torrent files for you? And utorrent won't give a 'torrent not found' error?
Firon
Oh, you'll have to move them by yourself. To clean them up, what I do is sort by added on, set a download folder, turn off automatically starting downloads, then add every single torrent in the dir (holding N so it answers no to loading trackers). Then just remove and delete .torrent to get rid of the extras./
Borisz
Re-adding will reset my stats, thats what I'd want to avoid.
Lord Alderaan
Tracker stats are saved by the tracker. You can't reset them even if you wanted too.Local stats are pretty much irrelevant except for eye candy.
