PCKid Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 Had a gigabyte board and just upgraded to a new Asus P5N32-E sli Plus board with 3GIG core 2 duo. My previous CPU was Dual Core 3GIG. Yes I run Bitdefender but it ran fine on the old Mobo for 2 years with no lock ups. I tried reducing the Global Maximum connections and in the end ran through the setup guide and set it to 120kb upload which defaulted to 90 Global maximum connections and it ran fine last night but today whilst using it it locked up twice and had to reboot. What else causes lockups? Thought it might be the screen saver but I was using it today when it locked up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
