Worlon
HiI found a big bug:When I make .torrent files with 1.7.2 it is always bad. One or more pieces are wrong. With 1.7.1 is good.My conf:AMD X2 4400+ (with AMD optimiser and latest driver)ASUS A8n5x (with NVidia chipset driver, BUT no firewall)2GB RAMWinXP SP2+all update and Vista Business N+updates. DreadWingKnight
Define how it's bad/wrong please.
Worlon
First I make a .torrnet file from a file (the file is good, not wrong or damaged.). When I open the .torrnet, some files, pieces are wrong, not 100%-seed. Only 98-99% and some pieces are missed (in blue line have red blocks). It seems like that it is not a complet download.I make .torrents for video, .exe., zip, rar. The problem is the same. When I use 1.7.1 utorrent to make .torrent from the same file, the .torrent is correct, good, and I can seed it (100%).The mistake is the same on XP and Vista. DreadWingKnight
Does it happen with both single and multi file torrents?
Worlon
I use it regularli with multi file, but if my remember good, the .torrent also was wrong with single file.I test it again, but now works well with 1.7.2 also. I don't know, why is it work. If it dosn't work again, I will post the bad and the good .torrent for you.Ok I finished the test:1. I make a .torrent with 1.7.2 (multiple file).2a. I open the .torrent, afther the creat -> everithing works correct2b. I don't open the .torrent, I wait abouth 1 hour, and open the .torrent. Now it doesn't work correct. here a picture: http://kepfeltoltes.hu/view/070827/1.7.2.BAD_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg
wyrmchild
Hopefully you aren't creating a torrent of something that's still being downloaded or otherwise modified occasionally? If it works right off the bat, but not after an hour, this is the likely reason. Meaning the torrent itself can't be corrupted. (the screenshot was taking too long to load, so I didn't see it to make any opinion out of it)
Worlon
It was FULL (I make a video about 3 weeks ago, and rar it also 3 weeks ago), and I don't modifi afther the .torrent was creat!! I make 3 tests, with different files (1video, 2rar), and finale ALL .torrents were wrong. (When I use 1.7.1 everithing ok)http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=172badke9.jpg
Honeyfrog
Do you have the problem with files you don't RAR?(I hate RAR'd torrents, btw....lots of people do; I recommend breaking yourself of the habit.)
Firon
I've made lots of torrents with 1.7.2 and have had no issue.
slipstream
AMD X2 4400+That's the reason. I've seen a number of such failed hash reports with utorrent and it was always AMD X2.
Worlon
Yes, maybe, I think this also. I use 1.7.1, and it is good and everithing ok.
Firon
1.7.1 is banned on a lot of trackers because of a bug.
Worlon
And 1.7.2 is also bug.
DreadWingKnight
No it's not.Otherwise, more people would be reporting issues.I'm more inclined to believe that the problem is in an interaction with other software or hardware on your system.
