Edetto Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Hi there,I'm not sure if anyone has ran into this before but on my desktop PC I have Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed. When I run a download test at speedtest.net I get a maximum of 300kbps with either a wireless or wired connection, I've tried both. On my other desktop and on my laptop I get a maximum of 1000kbps on both the wireless and wired connections. A simple solution would be reinstalling XP but I'd rather not have to resort to that. (3rd party app from www.speedguide.net )Uninstalled programs you no longer use? (this includes games)Run a registry cleaner?Run Process Explorer OR HijackThis! ?
