Will a public beta help and if so which one should i use out of the three?Thanks for any advice. Just cant seem to get a good speed. around 30KB. Is this normal? Switeck Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Your upload speed max probably isn't 8000 kilobits/sec...it might only be 512 kilobits/sec or even LESS!Speed Guide (CTRL+G) sets µTorrent based on your upload speed max in kilobits/sec or megabits/sec.Surfboard modems are generally problematic, so you need to read the various "workaround" posts here and elsewhere to at least get the gremlins to a minimum. Switeck Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 If your upload maxes out at 13 KiloBYTES/sec, then you need the xx/128k setting in Speed Guide...though you may be able to tweak the numbers a little from there.Just remember, when you don't have a lot of upload (or download!) speed...that lots of connections may actually make things SLOWER.
