torrents through school's internet connection help

hey

i currently live on campus and i'm using the school's provided internet connection. With the school's internet security, they block downloading torrents on web sites. When you attempt to download a torrent it displays a "The connection was reset" error. However, if you already have torrents on your computer to begin with, they work on uTorrent with the school's internet.

Would any of you happen to have any ideas or tips on how i could get around my school's internet security so that i could download torrents?
