downloading and uploading speed

Hi there, i have recently downloaded the new version of utorrent and i have noticed something different at the bottom, for e.g. D: 35kb/s T: 244MB U: 13kB/s T:105 MB, i am puzzled to what the T stands for i have searched everywhere and found nothing, it keeps going up and up both on the down and the up. Please someone help, its driving me nuts.

T is for "Total"
