carmenm
Hi,I am new to utorrent. I have been using bitcomet for a long time but the webui interests me a lot. Yet i have one question about the bandwith limit per torrent. I know i can set it by doing a right click on the torrent but can i change the default value? I have searched in the forum but didnt any clear answer.By default the value is unlimited and in my case i would like to change it.If it is not possible does someone if a feature request has already been done? so that i dont create a second one ...Thanks a lotMartin
Ultima
Nope, there isn't any way to set a default bandwidth limit per torrent. It has been requested before, but I can't find the thread.
Switeck
It's usually a good idea to just let the bandwidth 'float' between torrents however µTorrent assigns it. Only when you specifically want to SLOW a particular torrent does it do much good.
winstonfmn
I am new to utorrent and would like to know if there is a simple way to resume a download that was interrupted before completion. Right now all the system tells me when I try to restart from scratch, out of necessity, is the tracker is already in my system and do I wish to use it.Of course, but the question is how do I resume the interrupted download? I looked high and low and could not find anyone who asked about this, it can't possibly be so obvious surely! I welcome any and all suggestions in this regard. Thank you all. =)

winstonfmn
I'm fairly new at this game and did not realize that I needed to start a new thread to post my question. Excuse fingers. Your uncompromising attitude will be respected in the future by this poster. I prefer to be courteous rather than preachy. The world is full of people with overinflated egos, this is in no way aimed at you, so don't take it personally. Those tendencies have no place in a forum setup to help others get over a particular problem. Forum implies "camaraderie" among people with similar interests, why then respond with a put down? I don't know; I would have answered the question, if I knew the answer, then given some friendly advice on the correct way to post on the forum in future postings. Nothing good ever comes from such an undeserved rebuttal. =)
DreadWingKnight
As understated as it may be, myself and the other moderators have to deal with dozens to hundreds of posts a day, including people (such as yourself) who hijack threads by posting unrelated issues in them.My post also links you to the guide you need to solve your issue. winstonfmn
I fully appreciate your point. However, I am no hijacker; no I am merely lost in search of the wrong thing in the wrong place and asking the wrong question of the wrong thread.None of this activity was willful to deserve being considered a hijacking attempts that by definition is "willful". So, let's forget the whole thing. I will stay well away from further violations. Again I appreciate the volume of mail you must be processing and I take your point. All the Best to you All.
