NOP Posted September 6, 2007 Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 This is a message from your operating system, indicating a read- or worse, write error. If it is a CD or DVD you are reading (or upload?) from, it may be defective. If it is your hard drive, perform a test. Right click your drive icon in "My Computer", then choose "Check for error", or use a third party diagnostic tool. It is possible that this is a sign of a dieing hard disk, so this health test will show you whether or not there are more defective sectors. If so, backup your data and get a new disk...
