Replacement for default flags

Since having a flags.conf and setting peer.resolve_country in advanced options are incompatible with each other I made a new flags.bmp for the default hostnames using the same flags as the ones from this thread which contains nearly all the ccTLD.

Now you can have (IMO) better looking flags that (usually) display the correct country

Here's another set of flags to replace the default mapping. These were taken from the iChat list of flags, unfortunately it's missing quite a few flags and I really don't feel like making new ones so you're going to have to live with the missing ones unless someone else wants to make them.

The ones missing are: Aruba, Bulgaria, Columbia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia (Hrvatska), Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Morocco, Madagascar, Slovenia, Slovakia, Tunisia, Taiwan, Yugoslavia

Personally I'm not too fond of them, just throwing out some different options for people to use.

They were originally 48x48, so most of that is from being downsized.

If you're on Windows 2000 or lower, not really, without making a totally new icon set. They don't support alpha transparency.

Yeah, they really look great, but you excluded almost 1/3 of Europe ... including my home sweet home - Bulgaria

kol @ deviantART made a beautiful glossified flag iconset if you guys are interested. 264 flags total, but the developers here would need to get permission to officially distribute them as the default flag set. I don't think there's anything stopping us (the community) from doing it though is there?

I don't know, but I've sent an email asking if we need/can have persmission to use the icons.

personally I like the current flags more, KoL's flag isn't so clear when they are in the sizes they need to be in µTorrent.

He did make another set called "World Flags 2" that are round but not so glossy. This set provides the .PNGs in addition to the .ICOs.

Yeah, I thought that was what you meant. That's why I linked to the not so glossy icons. Maybe it's just you. They look fine to me when I shrink them down. If they looked all that terrible kol wouldn't have bothered making them as small as 16x16. I think they look damn sexy.

Does uTorrent not support transparency? I've saved bitmaps with it enabled but they all seem to have the problem that Miffo posted, a pink halo around the flags.
