Downloading Torrents to Wrong Directory

I have uTorrent setup to download all the completed torrents into a folder called "Completed" on my desktop. However, when I go to download the torrent it tells me that it cannot find the specified path name. I right-click the torrent and select "Open Containing folder..." Turns out it's trying to download the torrent into a directory on my flash drive. I've changed the "Move Completed Downloads to:" option to another folder on my desktop and then back again to see if that would rectify the problem.

Unfortunately, it has not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Um. You told it to move completed downloads to that folder. You didn't tell it to put in-progress downloads in that folder. If you want to do the latter, then set the default download location properly, or at least specify to µTorrent when you load the torrent, or by Advanced > Set Download Location in the torrent job's context menu.

Alright, well I've right-clicked again on the torrent and went to "Advanced" on the drop-down menu, and selected "Set Download Location", although I don't know if this will be a permanent fix. I'll try another torrent and see... Alright, opened another torrent and checked the confirm torrent download box, and seen that it had the option there to specify where you would like the torrent downloaded to. It was still set to the flash drive. Changed it over to the "Completed" folder on my desktop selected download and it worked. Tried another torrent and the last step ended up solving the problem.

Sorry for this useless post.

Shoulda tried more before posting.

G'day!
