stadi
Hi!Since the new 15.08 Nvidia mainboard drivers I get an "utorrent is not compatible with Nvidia firewall window". But I1m using an 680i motherboard, it doesn't have a built in firewall.
DreadWingKnight
The firewall is built into the drivers, not the motherboard.
tomh
All kind of p2p users must avoid nvidia firewall by using Custom install for the network drivers and remove the option. Use a well written firewall software choose from here : http://www.matousec.com/projects/windows-personal-firewall-analysis/links.php
stadi
Well, even if it is in the driver (for nforce4 motherboards) I don't have it activated. Right now I'm using the firewall in the Eset Security Suit beta. I'm using Vista. And with the previous 2 drivers I didn't get this message. DreadWingKnight
It installs by default in the versions that include it.You need to opt-out during installation.Uninstall the drivers and reinstall, ensuring that the firewall module does NOT get installed. stadi
If I remember correctly, there was no option to chose wether to install the firewall or not. The only option was the Nvidia Networking managment tools.
