guernicaaa
I know there's a way to limit the rate at which you download/upload, but is there a way to make utorrent stop uploading/downloading if, say, the total traffic transferred is about 1.75 gb? I'm at a university and they only allow 2GB of transfer, download and upload combined, per day, or they shut off your internet for 24 hours. It's already happened a few times and is quite annoying. Is there any way or do I just have to be more careful?
DreadWingKnight
You need to math out your connection so that your transfer speed allows you the 2GB in the x amount of time.quota based rate limiting has been requested before. Switeck
You may also want to use Scheduler to keep the limits low during certain hours -- or just disable µTorrent...and only run it certain hours of the day.
