Setting up a DHT network

Hi all, I am interested in setting up torrent DHT for my network. I have several sites around the country connected via VPN and would like to share large images between them via torrents and was hoping to do this using DHT instead of setting up a tracker but I haven't found much information about how to setup a DHT network. Can anyone point in in the right direction as to where I can find some info?

I know uTorrent has a built in tracker and can be enabled for DHT but I don't know how to allow the peers to find each other and share the said files with one another.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
