jacobrash
I just started last night downloading a file that is 8.16 gb which is large I know but my speed is only going in around the 25kB/s area on downloading and my upload is going 45-50kB/s. What im wanting is around some where in the 100kB/s section or higher. I also get this red exclamation point at the bottom of the utorrent which I read in the guide how to fix it but don't understand so if you could help me please. Switeck
What's the measured speed of your connection, both Down AND UP?What settings are you using, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?Have you changed any of µTorrent's advanced settings?Have you tried the troubleshooting guide?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992Also remember the whole system has to balance...if you're downloading faster than you're uploading, someone else isn't. So when there's very few seeds, often download speeds aren't much different than upload speeds. Right now, you're more giver than receiver, with settings changes that may reverse...but getting to 100 KiloBYTES/sec download speed may be problematic to impossible on such a large torrent. Most people cannot upload faster than 30-50 KiloBYTES/sec.
