fozzybear Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 when i currently download something say there is (1000) seeders i can only conect to like 10 give or take or there is (200) seeders i only conect to like 3 just wondering why my u torrent does not conect to more seeders when there is a high amount of them it isnt a port problem because my u torrent says my port is open i read up on this site that peer guardian is a gd program to block anti torent seeders which i use and have added the ziptorrent files is there more ziptorrent such files i need to add to my PG any help would be g8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 If you're blocking, you probably won't connect to everything anyway.Also, always trying to connect to more than 100 peers+seeds is just a good way to overload your computer, crash your connection, and nerf your speeds even if things DON'T totally crash.What's the measured speed of your connection, both Down AND UP?What settings are you using, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?Have you changed any of µTorrent's advanced settings?Have you tried the troubleshooting guide?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
