My upload speed is apparently 295kb/sec and my download speed is ~2900kb/sec according to the DSL speed tests. What should my downloading torrent speed be roughly? or does it vary greatly depdning on many factors? i've had download speeds of up to a constant ~190kb/sec (on one occasion) and as low as 20kb/sec, but usually it's around a sluggish 30-50kb/sec, does this sound about right or could i be downloading as high as 190kb/sec consistantly?thanks in advance. Switeck Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 Compare download speed to your upload speed.On slow torrents with few seeds (versis the number of peers), download speed is often pretty near upload speed -- so exceeding your upload speed on them is actually "fast" regardless of what your upload speed is.
