egm27
Hello all.I just got a Buffalo Tech WHR-G125 router with the DD-WRT firmware.I've configured port forwarding, etc. When I start up uTorrent, I get the green check immediately, and it remains that way all the time. However, when I run the uTorrent port checker, every time it reports that the port is not open. Can anyone shed some light as to what might be happening here? I'm surprised that they seem to disagree. Thanks!
Switeck
Some sort of connection overload?ISP using a transparent proxy?Trojan on your computer?Commercial junk software causing network havoc?...I just don't know.
egm27
My previous (much older) router had no such problems - the port checker always reported the port as open. I just changed routers a few days ago. That likely eliminates all of the last 3, unless my ISP or my computer has changed pretty significantly over the last few days. I'd have no idea about the connection overload.Any other thoughts?
