port forwarded OK but still yellow and no connections

wrt54gl w/ hyperwrt thibor 15c (did an nvram clear after)

vista 32bit

utorrent 1.7.4

my first problem was that utorrent was jamming the router's connections but now that that's fixed i would like to be able to upload and get some ratios

tried:

disable dht

disable upnp

forwarded port on router and windows firewall (port checker is successful)

it fluctuates between being green and yellow, but at any given time there are no more than 2-3 connections of uploads (downloads are fine) with ~ 0.0 kbps speed.

any ideas? its frustrating that i'm connectable but somehow not...

ComCast ISP has started dropping seeding connections in numerous areas, but not nation-wide...yet!

I don't know if that's your problem though, but just thought you needed to know.
