smkied
Hello!I am using my laptop on a network where I do not have physical or otherwise any access to the router. Therefore I cannot log into the administration panel to enable port forwarding for my IP.Is there any other way around forwarding ports or accessing the router when I do not have the password to the unit? Please advise. Thanks!

funchords
Turn on uPnP, see if that router supports it. Otherwise, no.
smkied
It's a DI-624 (d-link).The upload speed seems to be good, like uTorrent is uploading and downloading files no problem (the download speed is a bit slow maybe, but upload is fast). However the little green circle at the bottom is not there, instead the red one.
