Banzaiaap
Hey everyone,This is my first post here on the forum and I have kind of a problem with uTorrent. It's a great program, but my client won't connect to all seeders/peers. (See this picture)My connection is from Chello/UPClive (It's a dutch company) I've got a U.S. Robotics Wireless MAXg Router (USR5461) (Its wireless). As you can see in the picture, the circle in the bottom is green, which probably indicates that the port is forwarded. I've got a static IP in my wireless network right now. In the speed guide, i've tried some of the speed options, but none of them really help.. =/Well, that's it. I don't wanna download with 20kb/s when my internet connection can get up to 500 kb/s.. The upload test shows I can handle about 150kb/s upload right now.I don't know what kind of information you guys need after reading this. I just hope you can help me!Edit: I'm trying the openoffice torrent right now. This one is actually downloading alot faster! (90kb/s) but it doesn't get close to the wanted 400/500kb/s.. DreadWingKnight
You don't want to connect to everyone else.Your connection will be eaten alive because of all the other protocol stuff you need to transmit.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992
Switeck
Watch out that you're not confusing kilobits/sec bandwidth measurements with KiloBYTES/sec file download/upload speeds!Chello most likely throttles BitTorrent traffic to a fraction of the normal rated connection speed.See this for details:http://azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs
