welder28 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 hi im new to the forum and using the utorrent client, my problem is every now and again Zone Alarm asks me if it should allow different ip's from utorrent.exe , should all the traffic not come thro the port number that u use when u install utorrent? as am sure it says the ip's want to use another port to connect to me ? is this safe or is somebody trying to hack me ?? as its every half hour say zone alarm asks pemission ? plz help be glad of the advice ppl :> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

welder28 Posted September 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 thanks for the help , a had alot of problems with it on my pc when a ran azureus ended up using kerio free firewall and that sorted it , am using u torrent on my laptop and it allready had ZA on it thats the only reason a used it , will uninstall it and try a free firewall as am paranoid about the windows firewall as when a first got my pc a used to get spyware all the time until i installed a 3rd party firewall Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
