Honeyfrog Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 uTorrent is such a fabulous program that many of us like to have entire screens-full of torrents listed. Managing them all quickly can become a chore, however....."Global": a menubar command alongside "Help", "Options", etc. Sub-commands include:- Pause all torrents- Stop all torrents- Start all torrents- Enable DHT all- Disable DHT all- Enable PEX all- Disable PEX all- Enable trackers all- Disable trackers all- All normal priority- All low priority (handy when you're about to add a new torrent you want done fast.)- Remove upload limits- Remove download limits- Etc. (some of these can be toggles, of course; e.g., DHT, and so on.)Basically, it's all about pure GUI user-friendliness: No more than two-clicks to instant gratification.
Firon Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Right click in various places takes care of most of these (save for stop all, which probably should be in there somewhere), and enable/disable trackers won't happen. I don't see much point to the priority ones either.Still, I suppose it can't hurt adding copies of most of those functions to a single menu.
Honeyfrog Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 enable/disable trackers won't happen...Please reconsider for 1.8+...it's a royal pain in the ass to have to keep hacking those things out (prior to PEX-only sessions to thwart sandvine traffic-shaping) and re-adding them.
