jakubi
After a day running uTorrent and about twelve hours off, I have turned the compute on, and while utorrent is not running, I have checked the firewall log (Win XP SP2 default firewall). I have found that about 5 to 10 UDP and TCP packets per minute are being directed to the incoming port of uTorrent and are being dropped by the firewall. Are these delayed requests to the incoming port, after so many hours off, an expected consequence of the bittorrent protocol? Firon
It's because other peers cache your IP:port and continue trying to hit it. There's not much you can do about it.
