drude_z Posted September 22, 2007 Report Share Posted September 22, 2007 i got a torrent with more than a thousand files in it.i selected 7 files from the list and now 4 of the files which i didnt select are also getting downloaded. one of the files has downloaded 100 percent but i cant open it.i ve selected only files worth 5Mb and already downloaded 14Mb at less than 60%.i have a slow dial up connection and dont want to waste time downloading files i dont want and that i cant open anyway..Is there anyway around it??? DreadWingKnight Posted September 22, 2007 Report Share Posted September 22, 2007 If the files are smaller than the torrent's piece size, then no there is no way to avoid it.Pieces can cross file boundaries, and in your case, the piece likely crosses the file boundaries of multiple files.
