elezra46
ive had utorrent for ages and it was working fine until i upgraded to 1.7.5. started a download at a good speed which then slowed to a crawl then stopped. checked the port forward as ok. Then looked at my wireless connection. I inadvertently changed a setting and lost my secure wireless connection. The download contnued at 50kb/sec in gateway mode. I tried to re-establish my secure network which is when the faeces got into the air conditioning.Ended up calling my ISP which got the router back to secure status ok.Had to reforward the ports for a couple of appsCurrently UT wont download anythingPort forward is finePatched tcp/ip and set netmax.halfopen to 10Tried a download with lots of seeds but get nothingut logger says lots of disconnects: timed out and target machine refusalsok running Windows Xp SP2avg free, ZoneAlarmpro, motorola sbg900 router, cable isp(bigpond)settings in Utorrent: global connection- 130 over 70 - 3 upload slots DHT enabled upload rate automatic NAT-PnP enabled windows firewall exception added currently yellow icon stays on with occasional forays into green and then download dribbles in at 1-2 kb/s for a very short time.Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated .15 min later; ive obviously got a problem with my network configuration not utorrent itself but its got me bluffed!downloaded utorrent 1.7.5 onto my other desktop that does not run ZA.Forwarded a different port (same motorola modem)The torrent started ok for about 15 min then the yellow icon came upSOStill bluffedUn-installed 1.7.5 after reading most of the forum.Re_installed 1.7.4 and changed ports double checked router firewalls.Working on and off after tweeking Norton 2007 firewall. 10-20kb/s dluTorrent was allowed in the firewall but needed rules applied for UDP/TCP ingoing and outgoing- thanks for the tip Ultima.Tried Azureus as well and its a BIG FAT DUD
