jakal
Hey I'm relatively new to uTorrent and port forwarding so I'm guessing thats why it isn't working for me. Anyways, I went through the setup guide for using the Linksys BEFW11S4 v4 with uTorrent but I'm getting the red (!) icon and on the port forwarding test it says it was not properly forwarded.I'm running Vista Home Premium as my OS and I have ZoneAlarm Free set up as my firewall. My Speed Test Results were 1109 kb/s for downloads and 201 kb/s for uploads. My Current Settings: Can anyone help me with this?? DreadWingKnight
Did you set a static IP on your computer? If so what did you set?
jakal
Yeah I set up a static IP as 192.168.1.136 by using the Portforward.com guide.
DreadWingKnight
try .1.36 instead, and consider uninstalling zonealarm.
jakal
ok well what firewall should i use instead? and you do want me to put that in the router's settings, right?EDIT: It didn't work.
DreadWingKnight
The router has an integrated firewall.Because of that, software firewalls are largely useless on your system.did you update all your forwarding rules to use .1.36 instead of .1.136?
