1.7.5 crashing every day on Vista

Anytime I leave uTorrent running for an extended amount of time I return to find an error message that says uTorrent crashed and was unable to do a crash dump. I can then close down the application (via Vista prompts) and then restart it just fine.

This started with the 1.7.4 release. Everything worked fine before I upgraded.

Can you grab HijackThis and post a log? If you've got a software firewall, can you try removing the firewall rule for µTorrent and recreating it?

I am using Windows Firewall. I removed the exception and allowed Windows to recreate it when I restarted uTorrent. I'll let uTorrent run overnight and see in the morning.

I just deleted the uTorrent firewall rules (ZoneAlarm) and re-created them. No Problems any more after that!

Can you give me some hints here? I have the free version of AVG and all I see is virus protection and email protection, nothing that looks like a firewall.

On my router (Linksys) only three security features are enabled, Filter Multicast, PortScan Alert and Block Anonymous Internet Requests. Could those pose a problem?
