timedrifter
I keep having this message pop up: "Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" while I'm downloading. I know, there's a FAQ topic that is supposed to deal with this, and I read through it several times, but none of the fixes suggested seems to have an effect. If this problem was affecting all of my downloads, I could understand how I might have missed something, but not all my downloads are affected by this message. I do have a bit of information which might help. On the 'Pieces' tab, the individual blocks will turn light blue, then medium blue, but will NOT turn to the dark blue color, and when all the blocks in hte piece have been downloaded, or turned medium blue, the torrent crashes and the message pops up. Ultima
Get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, File > Save, then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here.

timedrifter
I tried ending that process and continued the download, but the problem still persists.EDIT: I retract my previous statement. It WAS the problem, and what I didn't notice is that it keeps popping back up again after I end it. It's a persistent process, I guess.

timedrifter
I think I figured out what the problem was. I recently installed Roxio's Easy Media Creator 10 Suite, and one of the new programs that was installed was a Media Manager (which all of these processes were related to apparently), which opens up at startup. I closed the program, and now the downloads work fine. Thanks to everyone for your help.
