Ultima
TMnet throttles BitTorrent, and there probably isn't any way around it. I'm not sure why you'd want to listen on port 80, but if it's to try and trick the ISP into thinking it's HTTP traffic, it's not going to work. buzzlair
its because my cllg block all ports except this "descent" port 80. last week,I tried to talk to IT Department to open some blocks. Well, when i gave them a shot. I suggest them to open other port such as 1080,8080 and others (not p2p port, they know about it), and i told them the reason. They said they can open it for me. Good news,But then im not really sure, can other port such as 1080,8080 or others can be use for torrent?
Ultima
If nothing else is using the ports, then possibly.
