Mkaveli Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 i been using utorrent for a while now. but a while back something changed i started to download with a speed not higher than 10KB when i normally download with a speed of 1MBbut thats not the only thing, when i start utorrent everything else slows down and eventually all internet is ou exept for the 10KB from utorrentive been looking everything over twice upgraded my router and everything but still i don't know what the problem is.and my ports are correclty forwarted. and my upload is set to 100KBcan someone help me???p.s. sorry for my english Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 What's the measured speed of your connection, both Down AND UP?(Your ISP may not be giving you what it claims!)What settings are you using, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?(Speed Guide wants to know your max UPLOAD speed, not download! Plus, there are a lot more settings than just speed shown by that window!)Have you changed any of µTorrent's advanced settings?(Some settings changes can crash µTorrent and possibly even your computer as well!)Have you tried the troubleshooting guide?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992(LOTS of things to try that may completely fix your problems!) Mkaveli Posted October 2, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 thanks for your reaction the problem isnt my internet conection because if i downlaod from a webpage i will get my 1MB download.my upload is 120KB and my upload in utorrent is 100KBi did not changed anything in my settings and it is still the same as it was when it worked.it worked fine for a while but it suddenly stopt an been acting weird eversince. slumqueen Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 I can't take this much longer. Basically I was getting speeds of up to 200Kb/s. For some strange assed reason the top d/l hovers @ about 20KB and also, simultaneously, I now have stuff uploading 2X as fast as d/l. I am stoopid. Not a knowledgeable or especially (e)involved person; I would appreciate any help. My connection is okay; Routr frwrded, uplod spd is set to a respectable levl.
