Guv Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 Hi,I am also getting Error Message "The process cannot access the file...",. mentioned elsewhere Roxio, Itunes etc (I have both) could be causing the issue - how do I finfd out if it is these and if so how do I resolve it?FAQ mentions Google Desktop as a potential issue - i have removed this and still getting the same problem. Please Help!! - This is very annoying!!Many thanks
Switeck Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Try a search here for Roxio, as I think it's the main cause...it's got an indexer that NEEDS to be shut down/disabled!
Goraek Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Weird,I have shut everything down but still showing the error message. I have deleted ROXIO and itunes etc, but still showing the error message.Anything else that may cause this?EDIT:I've fixed it.If you are saving your files on your system drive where all your apps are installed, you'll need to disable/exit all programs (roxio, itune, google, etc) before you start downloading torrents on utorrent. If you're saving your torrent files that reside on another drive, then this is ok.I hope this helps.Cheers,Goraek
