reggiekeene
I am new and have a question I have downloaded two files One large one 6.58 GB and it finished the download on 9/22/07 so far it has uploaded 16.5 GB So I wonder How long will it take to finish? The second is 3.17 GB Finished D/L in 9/24/07 and has u/L 12.2GB. I have tried to reduce the ratio, but I guess I just don't understand how.ThanksReggie Keene
hermanm
> How long will it take to finish? That depends on the ratio you set in uTorrent globally or per torrent.http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_make_.C2.B5Torrent_stop_seeding_at_a_specific_share_ratio.3F
reggiekeene
I have the maximum nujber of active torrents at 20The maximum number of active downloads at 2-Ratio is <= 100% or seeding time is now set to ,= 90 minuteschecked Seeding tash have higher proioitychecked Wehn Utorrne reaches the seeding goal 0Do you think will stop after 90 more mins?Reggie
hermanm
> Do you think will stop after 90 more mins?I do not think so. Only new torrents you add will follow the new rule you set. The help file says the behavior of your already existing torrents will not follow the new rules you set. So, I think if you double-click on the single torrent and specify your "Seed While" parameters, it should follow your rules for that torrent.Maybe one of the mods can explain if you delete the torrent and add it again if it will follow the new seeding defaults. Ultima
Yes, readding the torrent will apply the new seeding goals to the torrent. It would probably be easier and quicker to modify the torrent properties like you suggested, though.
reggiekeene
Thanks for all you help... I wonder if there is a way to save the download and then only have to seed or do I have to start all over again. I is my second time now and I will be about a month into this before I get it one. I have a 6 meg connection.Reg
