Serious Network Issue

hi,

i am using utorrent on a laptop.

However when i on utorrent on laptop for d/l. it will take a long time to load a URL on my desktop. so when every time i close my utorrent on the laptop. my desktop network speed recover.

Seem like utorrent is eating up my internet network. how can i resolve this? there are two user in the house. when utorrent is downloading. the other party could not suft the internet because it is very slow.. Please assists. Thanks
