TheDude
Hi !Previously I used ABC client, and while downloading, you could not access the files, but when it changed to seeding, then the files on disk were available to do whatever you liked, and that did not interfere with seeding. My guess is that seeding was done from some cache rather than directly from the disk.My usual use for the files while seeding was to use Nero to write the files to a DVD-RW (and then watch the DVD in a player). With uTorrent, I have had errors twice while use Nero on the files while they are seeding.Does uTorrent seed in a different way that still accesses the disk files while Nero is trying to do the same thing?I assume that the only the developers would know this, but perhaps...Thanks for your help ! 1c3d0g
Set diskio.flush_files = *false in Advanced Options. This will consume more memory but should hopefully help you with your problem.
