Octorod
Hi, I'm guessing that this is a symptom of a virus I recently got rid of but every time I launch utorrent my pc graphics switch to 8-bit (as opposed to 32-bit) and I have to change it back via my graphics card. Neither my antivirus or any spyware apps are picking up any problems. Not being a 'techmaster', I'd rather avoid having to reinstall utorrent because I found it a bit fiddly to set up. So has anyone come across this before or have any idea what to do about it?Thanks
Firon
Uh, µtorrent can't do this. You've got other problems on your system if this is happening.
hermanm
You could try re-installing the drivers for your video card in Windows Safe Mode to overwrite any possible corrupted files.
Octorod
Ok, thanks guys. I thought I'd check here first to see if it sounded familiar since it only happens with utorrent. The graphics card is next up for investigation Cheers.
tasinet
Go find utorrent.exe, right click it -> Properties -> Compatibility [tab]See if anything there is enabled like "Run in 256 colors" or 640x480 resolution. Uncheck everything that is checked and try again. If this doesn't help, try some Tequila.
