Switeck
I suspect that ISP throttles BitTorrent. In Speed Guide (CTRL+G), you may need to use xx/256k or slower setting.Net.max_halfopen probably should be lowered to 4.There may be issues with your motherboard's networking hardware/drivers.Have you searched online to see if your modem (Prolink Hurricane 9000/C) contains a firewall or router that needs to be configured or disabled? rockerbun
Thanks Switeck for the replyI did a test with my friend who has the same ISP. Using the same torrent, he has no problem downloading at a speed of 100+I have check out online. My modem is actually a normal modem only and it does not have a firewall in built.I have set the settings u mention too. But still it show "Not connectable" in my uTorrent. What could actually been the issue?
Switeck
Did you actually try your whole computer on his line or just his computer + his line?Because by the sound of it, the problem is your computer...if the lines are identical!...which means time to start looking for misconfigured firewalls and viruses!
