fp87
Hi, I have never used Torrents before and a frined of mine told me about utorrent.com. He told me after you download a file to seed it. My file says it is downloaded and it it is seeding. It has been seeding WAY longer then it took for it to download. Will it stop seeding when its done or do I have to do something? Also, since my file is downloaded can I veiw it while it is seeding?Thank you for your time. Switeck
You can view/play/use it once it starts seeding. It's up to you how long you seed it, but to be fair...you should give back as much as you downloaded.

hermanm
We often stop uploading far before giving back what we downloaded. Under Help, Show Statistics - uTorrent will tell you how much you've downloaded and uploaded in total. Do your best to upload as much as you have downloaded. I'm not the best example of this but I'm working on it.

Switeck
If you must stop a torrent before seeding back as much as you downloaded...best to do it on ones with LOTS of seeds. On those with few or no other seeds, try to come back later and seed it for awhile. You can set that torrent to 1 upload slot only and even low upload speed...but give others a chance to finish it too.
