thedit Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I've never had any trouble with utorrent until today. When I try to download something, I get a message saying "associated helper application does not exist. change the association in your preferences". So, I tried "graying" the association button in my preferences, but it still didn't work, and when I went back to the preferences, the button wasn't gray anymore. Sorry, I don't know much of anything about bittorrents, computers, etc. , so if this is a really basic question, I apologize. Please don't tell me to go to FAQ b/c I've tried, and none the questions that might relate to my question have answers I can understand. Thanks!
DreadWingKnight Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Did you completely remove the associations for .torrent files in both your folder options and your browser preferences then re-associating them with uTorrent like the FAQ said to do?
