unabel to save torrent to ...................

when ever i try to download torrents.. i get a pop up saying thats its unabel to save .torrent to ...........

any one got any suggestions to how to fix this,.... i run on vista..

and i have been reading some of the older post,.. gotten to page 34 so far. and cant finde anything related to this problem... but have been most usefully since ive been able to fix some other problems i have been having earlier

It's possible that .torrent files are associated to a program that was removed. Make sure .torrent files are associated to uTorrent.

the torrents are associated with utorrent as defult. when i click on torrents on the web. they open program. and all. puts up a box to see the files that consist inside the torrent. and then i press ok to start downloading. and then a warning box appears saying that unable to save torrent to ................... (what ever file i try to save) and on top of warning box says utorrent.exe

so there has to be something within utorrent that messes a bit up.. and id love to fix this... becuse this is much better then other programs ive used b4.

but it was a good thought. tnx though. but that is not the issue.... and its my fault for not filling in good enough info on the previous post.

if u got any other ideas id be most tankful

i got a resolution that helps temporarily. but the problem comes back if the computer is shut of or goes to hibernation or on standby. so this solution ive come up with is not a permanent fix to this problem. so i don't see it necessary to post up atm.

ummmm what is highjackthis. culd u mabe write down step by step how to do this. cuse wossshhh its over my head now.. im sorry.. to cause problems for u for not knowing what ur talking about....

Just run it, and perform the scan. It'll ask you to save the log; open it and paste the log here.
