grahamcss Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 I have a cable connection about 4-5 mbps down and 512 up . When i have utorrent up it bogs down my connection considerably. I have been trying to limit how much it bogs it down but so far have come up short. Things i have tried.1. Set global connection and max connections low. ( like 25 to see if it did anything... no)2. In the connection dialog box in the setup i limited it to 100kb. 3. I right click the individual torrent and limited the upload there and nothing. I have a bandwidth monitor running and although a torrent might be d\u at 50 kbps and 60kbps the bandwidth monitors that there is 5 times that much activity going through my nic card.
