Utorrent forced BSOD 10s after it starts up.

Ive been a huge fan of utorrent for couple of years now and i dont want to abandon it. So Recently all of a sudden my utorrent forces my system to go into a BSOD with either the 0x00000077 or 0x0000007a error. This only began just a couple of days ago when i added a couple of torrents and I think i got a virus in my system. But it seems that it was removed. But this only happens when utorrent runs. I have Kaspersky internet security installed. As well as using Spy Bot S&D. Ive checked the HD S.M.A.R.T and nothing bad there. Help Please.

Looks like you have (or had) multiple virus scanners and similar.

O23 - Service: PnkBstrA - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exe

Do you need PunkBuster? Did you know it's there?

HijackThis! offers a way to remove missing entries/links. You probably should read its FAQ before you do it, or you may find you've removed something important as well.

Do some research (using GOOGLE) even on each item HijackThis! found. I usually just put "filename.exe" into GOOGLE to see what it finds for starters, but putting "filename.exe" and "problems" or "crashes" can usually find if a particular program causes all kinds of disasters and crashes.

When a computer's that messed up, you have to be careful or it may get worse. It's like a house of cards...and some of the bottom cards have already been yanked out. That's really what those "(file missing)" lines mean.

It's always nice to have backups handy if you totally mess up your computer...format and reinstall is alot quicker that way.
