MastaChief
How do i scan torrents for any viruses after they're downloaded? BitComet has this feature but i am new with uTorrent so please help me out.
Invy
There is none for uTorrent. That would be considered bloat, which uTorrent is against.

hermanm
You can have uTorrent run a virus scan the torrent completes:http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#Can_you_make_.C2.B5Torrent_automatically_run_a_program_after_the_download_finishes.3FMost virus scanners have a way for you to scan specific files. Casper42
good advice hermanm, but I think the "you must do this per torrent" part makes it administratively not practical.Perhaps this is a feature that could be requested. A way to simply specify a default "program to run on completion" as opposed to doing it once per Torrent.I dont think this would be bloat either like Invy says since obviusly the feature is already there. Firon
It's a feature that's been requested before.
hermanm
> "you must do this per torrent" part makes it administratively not practical.Yes, I know what you mean. If you download a lot of applications, setting it per torrent could get tedious. In reality, how many applications we talking here? It seems to me, many download video which do not require virus scanning.
