andrewt4asu
I am running on a high speed university connection, using clean access agent, and can also switch to the arizona state wireless network (which should also be fast). When i first used utorrent, my speeds were both high and consistently within the 20 to 30 kb range, while sometimes shooting up to 250 KBs. But now, I I can barely get 10kb/s on a GOOD day... I don't know what the problem is and I know it is not a lack of seeders/peers since all my downloads have 50+ seeds (one has 350!). Yet I only get maybe ONE seed, and barely crack double digits... PLEASE help me with this, i can't stand how slow uTorrent is running!
Switeck
In Windows XP's Event Monitor, do you see error 4226 often while running µTorrent? What's the measured speed of your connection, both Down AND UP?(Your ISP may not be giving you what it claims!)What settings are you using, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?(Speed Guide wants to know your max UPLOAD speed, not download! Plus, there are a lot more settings than just speed shown by that window!)Have you changed any of µTorrent's advanced settings?(Some settings changes can crash µTorrent and possibly even your computer as well!)Have you tried Ultima's Troubleshooting Guide?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992(LOTS of things to try that may completely fix your problems!)
