Mali
hi...i have a 2016kbps/256kbps flatrate connection...and www.speedtest.net shows my speeds are 1715kbps/220kbps (median)since the whole point of torrents is to share, i have tried the optimal settings for upload ( i.e. upload speed limited to 80%, in my case (220/8)*0,8=22kB/s) but my download rate was crippled (tested it with openoffice torrent)i did everything from the speed guide, setup guide to Ultima Speed issues guide and cannot find the answer to the following problem:every time i try to limit upload speed above 15kB/s my download rate cripples (when on UP 15 kB/s i get around 200kB/s DL on openoffice, when on UP16kB/s i get 100kB/s DL and it stays like that all to the UP 26kB/s, when it drops way down to 10 kB/s DL)what am i doing wrongps:uTorrent 1.7.5Siemens Gigaset SE515 dsl router/modemwinXP+SP2T-Com Croatia ISPport forwarding enabled, protocol encryption enabled, uTorrent added to Win firewall exceptions

Switeck
Did Resolve IPs disabled do anything?Try these settings:Upload Limit 15kB/sAlternate Upload Limit: 22kB/sUpload Slots 3Connections 40Connections Global 60max active torrents 2max active downloads 1Your modem in half duplex mode? (That's where it can only send OR receive at any given moment...and means higher upload = lower download.)
