ok from what I understand this feature is to delete any data that is corrupt...

well thats nice and all but it takes too long, I have a 40 gig file that it takes 4 hours to check each time utorrent gets shut off, it takes bloody long enough to download the file let alone having to deal with this, part of the problem is whenever i'm using utorrent if I start doing something else during that time the mouse goes invisible? anyone else have this problem? it only happens when i'm using utorrent I have no idea why..

so I have to restart my pc to get the mouse back but then the checking files starts all over again..

is there any way to skip the checking files process? or to speed it up?

u only need to do this checking if your computer or utorrent crashes

its only files that u leech that must be checked... no need to check seeding files

but if it takes 4 hours for 40 gigs it means that it takes 6 minutes/gig... then something is seriously wrong unless u run a external "usb1" harddrive... on the internal drives here, i can ATLEAST check 1 gig / minute (and usually much more)... and i only get strange performance issues when i use external harddrives (but not that the mouse goes invisible, but it starts moving sluggishly)

u should try defrag your hdd if its too fragmented... perhaps u also need to install the latest chipset drivers (especially UDMA) for your mainboard or reinstall windows
