OgBad
Any time a file browser would be called (i.e. add torrent, create torrent->add file, etc.) utorrent crashes without any exit dialog or error messages. The problem has occurred in at least one other program, but the help there has been less then helpful. I don't think it's a problem directly with utorrent but with an underlying OS (windows XP) routine that utorrent calls on. I think that the OS routine has become corrupt and if identified could be reinstalled solving the problems.Even with this problem utorrent is the best torrent client out there; lightweight, power full, simple, intuitive, *endless praise*. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Ultima
Preferences > Advanced > gui.compat_diropenTry setting it to true? Try uninstalling Symantec to see if the problem persists?
OgBad
The change in GUI settings and uninstalling symantec didn't solve the problem. Again i think it lies in a corrupt OS element that utorrent uses (a dll file or the likes). If the dll file (or whatever) is known then it could be replaced solving the problem.
