FordP929
I like to use the icon of the torrent app that I'm using to customize the folder that I keep all my *.torrent files in. So naturally when I chose to use uTorrent I had to make new icon (the cool and non-pixellated) icon the new icon. But for some reason I'm unable to view the icons in exe. Being the technphile that I am. I can get the icon's via ResHack. But I figured other users may not be as savvy and that could be a problem. segosa
That's because utorrent.exe is packed with PECompact to keep the filesize down. There's not really much you can do except ask the devs to upload the icon in .ico format for you.
eva.02
the icon from scubasteve is pretty good and similar to the current one in the .exehttp://www.ihud.com/file.php?file=1128313600/uTorrent.ico
FordP929
This didn't happen with utorrent 1.1.2. I used the ugly icon before and now that there is a pretty cool looking one I can't use the icon embedded. Becuase this worked in the previous release I doubt compacting the binary had anything to do with it this time. It was probably a simple goof up.The only way I can use the embeded icon in the app is if I extract it myself using ResHak or another resource editing prog. Like I said I just wanted to inform the devs for the next release.
