purpureleaf Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 My conncetion is 3Mb download, 512Kb upload.I was using other torrent clients and they are slow, so I swithed to utorrent.It is fast! thanks, utorrent authors.But the problem is, speed limiting doesn't work at all. If I download some popular files, my speed goes crazy to download:350KB, upload:45KB, my computer can't do anything else.I tried to limit it to 90K download, 35K upload, but it doesn't work, I also tried speed limitation per file, it doesn't work too.I am using Vista, does this cause the problem?Thanks.

Switeck Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 On the download side, sometimes someone will continue uploading to you faster than you've set µTorrent's download speed max to. But it usually only goes over by a little bit...maybe 5-10%.
